Mother. Wife. Teacher. Adventurer.
Schools have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From being a student, to a volunteer, a teacher to an administrator, schools have been a daily part of my life for over 35 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have had the great pleasure of working in a variety of contexts, alongside some truly remarkable people. Trekking the Great Wall with students, touring the Cu Chi tunnels of Vietnam with colleagues, and hosting international guests from across the globe have certainly been highlights...but nothing compares to working alongside the students, families, and staff in my current setting. Their generosity of spirit and dedication to providing opportunities for learning is humbling beyond measure, I learn something valuable each and every day.
Simply put, they make me better. Here's to an adventure, a conversation, and a journey.
